I found the key to marriage, I did. I reveal it here. It only took 34 years.
Of course, since it is our anniversary weekend and RVs are also on our minds, I also determined that an RV should be chosen based on your marriage. I won’t tell you that he more or less told me I am nuts, with a word added before “nuts”, but I will tell you that I adore him anyway, especially since he has gone MAC over PC, or will once he turns it on - and since his assessment tonight was probably accurate.

“I want a charm bracelet. Not just any old charms, special ones.”
“They don’t work. They are mythical.”
He went on from there, asking if I had planned on blurting cantations and then pulling a charm off the bracelet and tossing it…. and brought the conversation around to this:
“…charms come from within.”
(I only wish I could replay the rest of the conversation. And yes, this was just normal thinking for him. For those of you who don’t know him, he knew I was talking about a simple charm bracelet similar to this one!)
I can’t wait to design my own bracelet at Rembrandt charms.
“That AT&T shirt material looks a lot cooler than yours. I’m going to ask him if I can read the tag and see who made it.”
“Don’t be ridiculous.” (in so many words)
“I need to know - and my blog needs more photos. Will you take a picture of me pulling out his tag?”
“No.”
Note: I turned to just go do it on my own! (Big step for me.)
But, Ms. Safety Freak lives inside me and she leaped out to stop me when she saw that he had already reached his van and put both safety cones back on his van. You see, Ms. Safety Freak worked for another phone company for years, and loved the telephone men, so she would allow no interference with safety procedures.
But I have the lunch receipt to see what time they MIGHT be back at the restaurant. Just don’t tell Leon why I want to go back there for lunch.
