Fed Ex — Excuse me

Posted at 10:01 am under Life Balance

Just as I hit send on the previous post, I looked up to see a man walk up, and put something down beside my door. No knock, no doorbell, nada, nunca, nothing. Helloooo, this was an overnighted envelope. Do you not think it might have been anxiously awaited? Could you not have walked two more steps to your arm would have reached the door?

(But, I do thank you for getting it here early!)

Had I not been in here to see him walk by through the frosted window, I would have never known he came. What happened to knocking, at least, to let you know they had arrived? I would have been waiting for hours, had I not caught the movement out of the corner of my eye.

Just for the record, trying to read legal papers with a sinus headache — not an easy thing. I’m going to have to defer to Leon… but I can tell you an interest only mortgage… not fun, when the amount you owe at the end is more than you borrowed… Huh? I want to use that math on my savings account.

OK, so maybe it would make sense without a headache, but today, I doubt it. Now to corral Leon and a notary at the same place and get these papers overnighted back. One more step will be done, the last one for us - except for canceling the electric and ridiculously overpriced homeowners insurance once it actually closes.

And yeah, seeing what we cleared vs. what we could have had we sold just a couple of months sooner — reality check - timing is everything… but yes, I can see the good and be grateful — just have to look a little harder from behind the headache.

Oh, yeah, almost no longer homeowners… and that is just fine!
