Grasshopper light
defines my space
when life falls absurdly out of placeCrystal hinge
defines my world
when mind’s focus abstractly twirledIcicle shades
defines my view
when heart song fails halved by twoTwisted key
defines my voice
when words are chanted not by choiceChalk drawn gate
defines my ears

I see a lounge chair…maybe its wishful thinking!
I saw a lounge chair in another of my abstracts and wrote a poem about it, I didn’t see it in this one, but now I do! Two sets of eyes work better than one. - M.
