It’s my life…part of it - and Hallelujah

On waxing poetic:

It is the words that come from the true heart they react to, though often I don’t know the truth until it has reached them, refracted, and made its way back to me.

On counting:

Yesterdays ago, separated words by syllables, accented, for my student
Today, a verse in syllables for my haiku, keeping flow in mind
tomorrow, a story in words with a strict count

count this way
count that way

it is no wonder my rhythm is off

I can’t remember which way to count
and as I hold my fingers out, they will move
automatically at each syllable, though
it is words I should count that day…

frustrating, perhaps, but I can’t help but smile

at least this habit is not a bad one like….

On writing:

The hands need movement, the heart needs quiet, but the mind, the mind wants it all, and the body, well, the body just wants to play…

…and I, I just want to sleep. Good night.

Oh my gosh, I only just fell in love with Bon Jovi recently… and was disappointed by a live version of Hallelujah I heard him sing on YouTube… but THIS VERSION - just, well, let’s just leave it that hearing it is awesome enough, but watching him work the song, the mike.… Hallelujah.. just kidding… sort of kind of…
