Swimming Against the Tide
Any time you swim against the tide…. it is going to be hard.
If you know someone more than just “kind of” honest…. then know they are expending a heck of a lot of effort to push against the tide.
Th question is not so much why they would expend that much effort, obviously it is either a keen sense of right and wrong, or just plain stupidity, depending on from where they are viewed, but if they will be strong enough to get there without sinking into either the black hole of despair or just climb on the supposedly life raft of less than honest… I’d hate to do the statistics on that one, but then I opted for Trigonometry rather than a Statistics class.. so statistics don’t mean a thing to me anyway.
