LEON PASSED HIS STATE EXAM, WOOHOOOOOO

He passed! He is now licensed. He only has to take his license to the business owner so he can officially “appoint” him. Then he can get started working…. Exciting!

After all, if he said things went really well, I mean really, really well, he would buy me an iPhone — and he so does not want to. He thinks they are ridiculous, but I caught him in a weak moment (or is that badgered him) at the AT&T Cingular store the other day. So, Sandra, an employee is my witness, and she, of course, cannot wait for him to come back and buy it from her!

Leon is on the phone now telling our son, aka, his boss now!

Wait a minute, I said I would help with the behind the scenes paperwork, you know, spell checking and typing…. and stamping fliers and research. This means I have to start working part time, too.

I will not whine. After all, as a wife, I can always refuse to do things easier than as an employee. (Insert major GRIN here.)

We are taking the rest of the day off from thinking! Have a great day, y’all!

    Congrats Leon!!!!!!!!! Doing a happy dance for you both. Go out and have fun and start living it up.

    Leon said thank you, Brian! He is so excited that he told me at least 25 times that he had passed his test and gotten his license — with a big grin. We double celebrated with our son and daughter-in-law, because he just was promoted. Tomorrow errands, weekend relax, Monday, real life returns, but we don’t mind!

    I never doubted for a second that Leon would fail…of course he would pass with flying colors. Now you both deserve a break from the stress and walking on eggshells…you go ahead and have fun….relax, and enjoy…no whining allowed! Tonight we wine,,,tomorrow we whine! Congratulations to both of you!

    Thank you, Matty, said Leon. Stress, what stress? HA! We celebrated Leon’s license and our son’s promotion tonight, casually over Mexican food. No whining tomorrow either! New chapter starts Monday, after relaxation, and we are ready!

    Leon thanks you, Susan. We went to a quiet dinner tonight and celebrated…. and last night he bought Starbucks Java Chip, one of his favorite ice creams… In fact, I think that is where he is now, hugging the container.. .grin.
