Only the Good - 24th edition
The bad in this photo is obvious… and smelly… and that is the first thing most people notice…. and they may turn their head and not see the good in this picture, but I know you can, especially if you have been practicing finding ONLY THE GOOD in these pictures.
Let this exercise carry over into your daily life, you will be surprised what good is really out there.
Yes, this is a relatively easy one… but even for me it was hard to overlook a certain unmentionable something at the time…. so we can all use the practice.
Check out Only the Good blog started by Nancy. Play there and run off to play at the other sites on her blog roll. It is small, but it is growing. and growing is good.
Just think, a way to use your less than ideal photos for a good purpose….

I see a flag of a FREE country (the true north strong and free)! Could there be anything more good?
Thanks for finding such strong good in the photo, Rosemarie! Your question is rhetorical, but I agree with you!
I have such a thing for patterns, so what I really like about this picture is the buildings with their complex order of struts, windows and balconies. I also like how this pattern is broken up by the foreground: the flag blowing in the wind, the shape of the bird, the ripples on the tarpaulin canopy. The colours too, are really strong and vibrant. Lovely!
Thank you AmyPalko for finding so much good in this photo. I love patterns and buildings, as well, and that flag was gorgeous.
My first response to this photo was to smile - “free”bird….
It’s all good!!
Smiling is definitely good, Mo! Thanks for seeing the free, which is good, in the photo!
