Thursday Thirteen - These bloggers set examples…

Posted at 9:14 pm under Thursday Thirteen

Thursday Thirteen - These bloggers set examples for me

- Shelby @ Time with Shelby. Determination and perseverance — if “they” win, it is only for the battle, NOT the war.

- Shelly @ This Eclectic Life. Make it happen - for others — whatever it takes, including all of us.

- Matty @ Running on Empty. How to be a Lioness — with both fury and compassion — and humor.

- Chris @ Tears Shed on Paper, Clockwork Chris Returns. Be yourself — keep digging through your layers and grow.

- George @ The Adventures of Tioga and George. ReVisit your life and lifestyle and try new things.

- Paisley @ Just Paisley. Tell it - all - without the sugar coating. Life is interesting as it is and each day is a new day.

- Nancy @ Only The Good. If you see a worthy project that needs to be shared, share it with the world. Same for thoughts for us to ponder.

- Pia @ Courting Destiny. Speak up and be unapologetic about it! The world needs to hear and be heard. We need to be heard - and to listen.

- Rose @ World Outside my Window. Researches her posts and research makes for interesting finds.

- Damien @ Riley Central. Experiment with your blog to get it where you want it to be, that comfortable place, both for yourself and for your readers and help other bloggers. (He has started a new forum.)

- Rose Dewey Knickers @ Flash Your Knickers Here. Make your readers think. She questions life and she replies to us many time in humor that makes us think again.

- Brian @ Truth is Freedom. If you have something that you really want to accomplish, go for it. Brian was not afraid to give his blog bare minimum attention when he needed to focus on his novel. He gives his time, though, normally, to all of us, visiting even if just to say hello.

- Bone @ If you only read ONE BLOG this year. Respond to your commenters. He makes it a two-sided conversation and draws us all out. And he created a simple meme either 50 or 52 weeks ago, depending on which way he/we count it — and visits everyone that participates.

Get the Thursday Thirteen code here!

The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!

Thank you so much, Marcia! I feel the same way about your blog and after all, OTG was YOUR idea in the first place. :) Some great links to read here.

Oh, girl, thank you for mentioning me again. You know you are a favorite of mine! On ALL of your blogs. But, you always give me too many links to follow! AAARGH!

Excuse me, but I believe I learned that link trick from you! (and thank you…) (and you are welcome, etc.)

Thanks! It’s a different blogosphere than the one I began in

If I’m apologetic it’s because I got so much flack in the beginning, and people who have read my blog since its beginning have heard it all

Which is one of the many reasons I love retelling things in fiction

Pia, you’re welcome. I love reading what people really believe… whether it is my beliefs or not…. and retelling in fiction sometimes seems to get the point across better than in nonfiction…. I use poetry the same as you use fiction.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Marcia :)

Ahh, Bone, you deserve them… You bring out the young in me, grin.
