Making magic happen interferes with reading blogs….
and so do mini vacations…. I get to visit Canada for a short weekend trip — the first time I have been outside U.S. borders… We are going with friends and I am excited.
At the same time, we are sorting out all the stuff we have accumulated since moving to Washington, plus what little we brought from Florida — so we can sell the house and get our RV… Of course, I can’t take my time… We need to do it NOW, we would love to get settled into the RV in a local resort before winter makes its presence known and ….
So far I have my craft closet almost emptied and along with my books and most of my kitchen it is all now distributed into three huge piles — sell/giveaway, take in RV, keep in storage to put in the park model we hope to buy next year in the mountains. I am knitting away so I don’t have so much yarn to take with me. Share A Square will benefit from our downsizing, I hope.
Leon is hard at work and then rushing home to finish the stuff we should have done last year, grin… so he is painting and installing toilets and the like…
We are going to take the keep in storage stuff to storage even before we put the house up. May as well get used to bare minimum stuff if we are going to survive in a not so big RV.
And contrary to our normal routine, we are agreeing on almost every detail…. Huh??? I mean, we really are… must be the adrenalin of all else that is going on behind the scenes, although getting an RV alone would do it for me.
So, yes, I am getting behind in commenting and in reading… and I really miss the reading and you know I love to run at the mouth in your comment sections… I’m trying to catch a few a day… and we all know in a few days I will say to heck with it and strain my eyes all day just catching up….
Now, your toes and fingers and hair are all still crossed that we get this house sold immediately and for more than we are asking, right?

It’s obvious that you are bubbling with excitement over this transition. So much to do and so little time! I envy you the thrill of change, but I wouldn’t relish the downsizing! It’s the hardest thing in the world for me to do. Good luck with it all and know that I’m sending good thoughts (calming thoughts) your way!
Calming thoughts received… Why I even took some things out of the keep pile (too big) and put in the get rid of, dump, trash, sell, recycle, turn a blind eye to piles!

Susan, it is nice to be noticed… We are making progress, thank you… I think after this coming week, I can get back to my normal… ’cause there won’t be anything left in the house but kitchen stuff and my computers…. grin… and we know I won’t be in the kitchen much. Thank you for noticing!
