Tumbled Words

Wow, contests are getting interesting now. Before too long it is no telling what we can win!

The day started out normal enough. My new iMac computer was doing same “wrong” things, as in the same things it did last week, so I need to call support, but just had to browse some first. After all, I have been spending so much time changing blogs around and fighting code I don’t understand to begin with, I have missed a lot of reading and even not returned visits.

So, today, what started out simply as returning visits led me to the coolest sights. More on that next week, links are coming. And that is precisely why at times I am slow at returning visits, one link leads to another and I have NO perception of time passing when I am happy. Do you?

But first, my readers know I posted the first Only the Good photo; thought about making a meme out of it and didn’t, too caught up in all else. Well, Nancy Bond took the next step and created a blog around it, Only The Good — and people are slowly finding it. (Insert the most massive of grins here. Mine, I mean.)

(Now, insert a HUGE frown. I tried to link to my first Only the Good post — and it is not here, in fact none of the posts are here from a chunk of March!!! How did I do that? (She beats her head against the wall behind her.) Well I linked to it on the old blog, at least I hadn’t deleted it yet. . . Breathe, Marcia. . . She needs a computer genius to figure out how to move just the few over without crashing the whole thing. She also wonders what else is missing! Ok, enough crying (’cause it is more than whining this time!), back to the contest.

I visited the newest participant, Janet at Life in Westcliffe, and, well, kept reading. Among the other interesting posts was a link to two contests. Here is the link to her post on both of them. I will let you visit her blog to get the info, mainly because I have to get on the phone to support or I won’t be blogging at all, besides I rushed to tell you before I even entered myself. Now, I can call support and be put on hold. . . but then I can always snack while waiting and browse the blogs. Sure beats housework… I feel guilt easing its way in. What could I give away of value? And what would the rules be? Rules, no, not real rules…. and I certainly can’t swing $2500, or my first born like Shelly considered with her first born — and I don’t do windows or cook worth a darn. Knitting simple squares like that plain tealish colored one in the afghan there is about as talented as I get. . . Now, I know I am just talking to myself, I know you all took off and entered those contests now, didn’t you?! You are crocheting or knitting a square, too, right? Or, at least talking it up, right?
