Isn’t collecting fun?

And time consuming, but it also gives you something to post about. I stopped by Time with Shelby today. (Tried to not use her gorgeous header photo as a point of meditation, but scroll down and read instead.) You may want to stop by to see the header, but try to make yourself scroll past it after a few minutes - or just click on this link to read about the kindness of strangers - right here in America! I’m glad I did, she was sharing her intent to enter August’s Write Away Contest that Michelle @ Scribbits hosts. Instructions are at Scribbits, you have until August 24th to write or find a post you have written on “collecting, collections or a collection of yours.”

….I must collect something? No, just junk anymore… Oh, I know a collection I can write about! It’s not mine, but I got to see it, touch it, ride in it, and get as excited as the volunteers! Can you guess what it is? Bigger than a breadbox if I rode in part of the collection. Check back Saturday — It may take me until Saturday to create all the links. It was easier with Blogger (for me).

…I’m off to scan in more photos for Friday’s post: I reveal the one thing about beer I really loved in my younger days and the Face Behind the Hands (I mean Blog, I think I got hands from Shelly’s header picture here: This Eclectic Life.) She let us all tag ourselves, but Damien at Riley Central, well, he named names.

Go on, start thinking about which collection you want to write about — or just about collections or collecting in general. And while you are thinking, decide which pics you want to reveal to the world, I mean we all have multiple sides and ages — and hairstyles.

I’m going to try to get Leon to reveal himself, too — he has made a few entries!

    Shelby - You’re welcome - Lunch sounds good. (In Oregon, sounds better, I would love the excuse to get down there.)
