Tumbled Words

Or is it plan for it and it will happen? Or dream and it is yours? or? Perhaps that is all true, perhaps not…. but Leon and I are revisiting what we require and want. This is not the first time, nor will it be the last, though this time, we may have thought long and hard enough to only need a bit of plan tweaking now and then. And I have sent the plan headlong into the universe this morning.

You know those moments when the adrenalin is flowing, the happy glow of what is to come is there, but most of all, that excitement that you have made the right decision based on the facts in hand both before and especially now? Those moments when you can live in the now in spite of the excitement of what you are pulling your way in the future?

Well, today and yesterday are/were like that for us.

I have written to do lists and two emails, ridiculously long, (no make that three) because I cannot contain my excitement at the prospect that we may have figured out a way to survive monetarily for a few more years… And the best part of it, it allows a special benefit, two, actually….and possibly a BIG third one…

The other part of this, even if the full of this does not pan out, if there are issues I don’t know yet, part of the plan will still be put in place - and it is something I never dreamed until recently. Once that is in place, I am sure I/we can come up with an alternate if need be for the bigger part.

That’s all I am sharing for now… Other people are involved in this working, so until we can reach them…. Keep your fingers and toes crossed, please — and braid a lock of your hair - or at least twist it in nervous excitement for us so something else is crossed…

Those birds are on the wire… I am quite sure the message from Leon’s heart to the universe is traveling those same wires right now!

Thursday Thirteen - Why I was late yet again!

1. I was having so much fun reading Wednesday night I forgot to start it.

2. I decided to do one that had 13 links and I hadn’t chosen all the links yet.

3. Knowing I didn’t have enough time this morning, I started writing it anyway.

4. This is AFTER we slept for hours after our normal wake up time….

5. We left to go get lunch (told you it was late) and mail off his passport renewal.

6. After standing in line at the post office, we realized he needed a doctor, lawyer, engineer, cop, teacher, judge, etc. to countersign his application… Dilemma.

7. Back at home, we realized as luck would have it we knew ONE of those people, his doctor - and he had to go there to get his fire ant allergy shot anyway. I got a square knitted on the way, during, and back.

8. Back home to reprint one page we lost and to get mail address for a special package I was mailing.

9. Trip to Ben Franklins to get black yarn to send later to Shelly for SAS, but ran into
Donna who had spearheaded the Yarn Yoga group’s 156 squares for SAS. They have done a few more!

10. Spend time watching teeny green inch(?) worm on windshield and trying to get good picture… and a movie that flopped…. View from inside the car:

11. Back in line at the post office TWICE more (don’t ask). Too many dollars in postage later because I am impatient and want them sent NOW.

12. Early dinner (remember, missed breakfast), lingered over it making plans for future.

13. Walk the mile round trip with slight hill in our cul-de-sac.

14. Try doing Thursday Thirteen, have to fill out interview form… Took the easy way out! But today was one big Stolen Moment with Leon — worth every second…. Next week will be the 13 links!

A stolen moment earlier in the week simply because it was a day off and we chose not to work on the house. Isn’t the rippling water at the lake calming? A contrast to our black Pink Floyd ball caps. Fun to wear, people think we were lucky enough to go to a concert… Not me…

When is a stomach upset a good thing? When it means two people get a stolen moment or two together - away from work - today!

Thursday Thirteen will be posted this afternoon… After all, it will still be Thursday! And stolen moments definitely get top billing in my life!
